RSC PILOT’S WATCHES: THE STORY
Pilot’s watches hold a special attraction, especially when they find their inspiration from historic airplanes and their pilots. Such watches tell a compelling story.
All watches by RSC (Ronald Steffen Creations) have one thing in common, they are influenced by the awe-inspiring tales of pilots and their aircraft.
“As the co-founder and designer of RSC I started my journey with a limited edition timepiece based on the Sopwith Camel, an iconic airplane that played a crucial role during WWI. I then got inspired by other legendary airplanes – Mustangs and Spitfires but also fighter jets, helicopters and cargo planes. The RSC collection started to grow.
A design journey often starts when an airplane, historic or modern, captures my imagination. Soon after I’ll start to sketch. Sometimes, air force squadrons commission me to design a unique timepiece. A design that unites them or is used to commemorate a special occasion.
These watches are later made available for purchase, albeit in very limited numbers. The watches and straps are made with only the best quality materials, assembled by experts, and uphold the highest quality testing standards.”
